I try to listen to music whenever I can. It serves as the soundtrack to the things I do, be it working out at the gym (when I go), writing up something or riding on the highway. Music can take the most boring task and turn it into something wonderful. I’ll share some of these now and then.
Director John Carpenter is well known for both his movies and the music he’s created for them. Musically, I’ve always felt his best works were the ones he did with Alan Howarth. They collaborated on Halloween II, Escape From New York, Big Trouble In Little China, Christine, They Live, and Prince of Darkness.
Pork Chop Express is the theme song for 1986’s Big Trouble in Little China, a fitting song for a dark and stormy night, or a long work commute.
