Child of Love (by Joss Ackland, Mary Hylan, George Gilmour and Chorus)
I found out last night through that actor (and singer) Joss Ackland passed away at the age of 95. He’s mostly remembered for his roles as a villain in Lethal Weapon 2, The Hunt for Red October and in the Mighty Ducks films. The Apple...
Ryan Gosling’s tackling wild stunts in The Fall Guy trailer!
Back in the 1980s, nestled between shows like The A-Team, Miami Vice, Matt Houston and McGuyver, you had The Fall Guy. It starred Lee Majors (The Six Million Dollar Man) as a stunt man who worked part time as a bail bondsman to keep himself...

No Time to Die – by Billie Eilish

Grammy Award Winner Billie Eilish just released her theme song to the upcoming Bond Film, No Time to Die. Along with her brother Finneas, Eilish collaborated with composer Hans Zimmer and Johnny Marr (both of whom worked together on the Inception score). As this film is set to be Daniel Craig’s last outing as 007, the song is somewhat somber. It sounds a little similar to Sam Smith’s “The Writings on the Wall” with the “Fool me once, Fool me twice” line.

The real question is how the melody is going to be incorporated into the score. Sometimes the score makes the theme song difficult, like Jack White and Alicia Keys’ “Just Another Way to Die”. Sometimes, they’re almost a perfect fit in the way Chris Cornell’s “You Know My Name” and David Arnold’s score.

No Time to Die hits cinemas this April.

[Verse 1]
I should have known
I’d leave alone
Just goes to show
That the blood you bleed
Is just the blood you owe
We were a pair
But I saw you there
Too much to bear
You were my life, but life is far away from fair
Was I stupid to love you?
Was I reckless to help?
Was it obvious to everybody else?

[Chorus]
That I’d fallen for a lie
You were never on my side
Fool me once, fool me twice
How you dare the paradise?
Now you’ll never see me cry
There’s just no time to die

[Verse 2]
I let it burn
You’re no longer my concern
Faces from my past return
Another lesson yet to learn

[Chorus]
That I’d fallen for a lie
You were never on my side
Fool me once, fool me twice
How you dare the paradise?
Now you’ll never see me cry
There’s just no time to die

[Refrain]
No time to die
No, no time to die

[Outro]
Fool me once, fool me twice
How you dare the paradise?
Now you’ll never see me cry
There’s just no time to die
