This Corrosion – by The Sisters of Mercy

Today is World Goth Day, and as such, I thought I’d add a song.

My go to song is one that I would have never known about were it not for Edgar Wright. “This Corrosion”, by The Sisters of Mercy came out back around 1985, off of their album Floodland. It was The World’s End that introduced me to the song. With Andrew Eldritch and Patricia Morrison on vocals, the song is pretty straightforward and is absolutely superb when on a long motorcycle ride on a dark night.

I’m sharing both the video for the song as well as the 10 minute version I usually listen to. Enjoy.
