A Time of Quiet Between the Storms (by Hans Zimmer) 
I caught Denis Villeneuve’s Dune Part Two at my local theatre last night. It’s a beautiful film that warrants a viewing on an RPX/IMAX like screen, though I do have some small issues with it. Still, the soundtrack’s fantastic and Hans Zimmer works some magic....

Halcyon and On and On (by Orbital) 

This one takes me back to wandering the electronic music section of the Virgin Megastore Times Square, listening to random albums.. For me, the repetitive nature of electronic music helps me to relax and focus. Orbital’s Halcyon and On and On is a classic, having been featured in both the soundtracks for 1995’s  Mortal Kombat and Hackers (both of which have some great songs in their albums). The song is actually a mix of two others – It’s a Fine Day, by Opus III and Leave It by Yes. It also happens to be a longer version of the original song.
