Tears in Rain (by Vangelis) 

I’ve been hearing that Vangelis passed away today at 79. Best known for scoring Blade Runner, Chariots of Fire and 1492: Conquest of Paradise, Vangelis had an incredibly unique sound. I also owned his Opera Sauvage, which had some other non movie related pieces that were interesting.

Tears in Rain, from the Blade Runner score is one of the best tracks on the album. I’ve used this song for riding, and relaxing. Musician Paul Oakenfold also used it as the basis for his song “Ameobaassassin”.
