I’m trying to do a write up on Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey and was mentioning Aspect Ratios. This reminded me of the opening credits to Richard Donner’s Superman, which I used as an example. It’s a shift from the 4:3/ 1.33:1 to the 2:35:1 format. Of course, you can’t watch that opening without listening to all of John Williams’ magical theme. As a little kid, I often got this song mixed up with the theme for Star Wars.
